Inside Studio Riviera – As featured in DONNA Magazine

Sometimes people ask us if Studio Riviera is a ceramics brand.

The answer is: not really.

Studio Riviera has never been just about handmade tableware. It has always been about bringing home a feeling. The kind of feeling you get somewhere between long lunches, warm evenings, fresh lemons, good conversations and another plate of pasta.

That story recently caught the attention of DONNA Magazine, who visited our home and studio to discover where Studio Riviera began.

For us, inspiration doesn't start in a design studio.

It starts on the road to Southern Italy. In small family-run ateliers. At local markets. During espresso breaks at an Autogrill. In villages where life moves just a little slower.

Every collection begins there.

Our ceramics are still handmade in Southern Italy by artisans whose techniques have been passed down for generations. Every brushstroke is painted by hand. Every piece is slightly different. Every plate tells its own story.

Back home in Bavaria, our house has become an extension of this world.

Vintage furniture collected over many years. Colourful textiles. Art. Family dinners. Friends around the table. A home that doesn't try to be perfect, but feels lived in.

Because that's what Studio Riviera is really about.

Creating beautiful, imperfect moments around the table.

Mixing colours. Mixing patterns. Mixing old and new.

A little piece of Italy, wherever you call home.
