This extraordinary large handmade ceramic bowl (42 cm) is a true statement piece. With its generous size and expressive hand painted pattern, it instantly becomes the centerpiece of any table or interior.
Perfect for serving fresh summer fruits, large salads or sharing dishes, this bowl is designed for moments around the table. At the same time, it works beautifully as a decorative object on a dining table, kitchen island or sideboard, bringing a touch of Mediterranean elegance into your home.
Each piece of our collection is a unique masterpiece. Handmade according to traditional pottery craftsmanship in a small ceramic studio in southern Italy, every bowl is shaped on the potter’s wheel, glazed and carefully hand painted by our ceramic artist. No two pieces are ever the same. This exact design exists only once in the world.
Our ceramics are made from high quality clay sourced from a small village in Tuscany. After being shaped by hand, each piece dries for several days under the Italian sun before entering the kiln.
The bowl then undergoes an elaborate multi-stage firing process. It is first fired for 36 hours at over 1000°C, followed by the application of the base glaze and a second firing of 36 hours at 1000°C. Finally, each piece is hand painted and fired a third time. These traditional techniques give STUDiO RiViERA ceramics their exceptional durability, vibrant colors and unmistakable character.
The different patterns can be beautifully combined to create your own STUDiO RiViERA Signature Table.
Beyond its function, this bowl is also a collectible interior object – a piece of Italian craftsmanship full of soul, color and character.

This is Nicola Fasano within his charming atelier in Bella Italia hand-painting one of our plates. All the unique patterns and joyful artworks of our pieces are exclusively created for STUDiO RiViERA.

Die Keramikkunst von Studio Riviera wirkt wie vom römischen Meeresgott Neptun persönlich auf die mediterrane Dinnertafel gespült - obwohl sie eigentlich aus Oberbayern kommt. Zum Leben erweckt werden die illustrierten Gottheiten auf Ausschau nach dem Fang des Tages allerdings in einem kleinen Atelier in Süditalien.
