Each piece in our collection is a unique little masterpiece. Handmade according to traditional pottery craftsmanship, every bowl is created with love, passion and creativity in a charming ceramic studio in the south of Italy.
Our new bowl shape is a true multitasker at the table. It is perfect for serving Italian pasta, fresh salads, flavorful curries or even a light breakfast bowl. With a diameter of 18 cm and a height of 6 cm, it has the ideal size for a wide variety of dishes and quickly becomes a favorite for everyday use.
Before each bowl finds its place on the table, it goes through an elaborate production process. First, it is dried under the Italian sun and then fired for more than 36 hours at over 1000°C. Afterwards, the base glaze is applied by hand and the piece is fired again for another 36 hours. Only then the characteristic pattern is created: every bowl is carefully hand painted by our artist and fired a third time.
These elaborate firing processes give Studio Riviera ceramics their exceptional robustness and durability – and make every bowl a truly one of a kind piece.

Die Keramikkunst von Studio Riviera wirkt wie vom römischen Meeresgott Neptun persönlich auf die mediterrane Dinnertafel gespült - obwohl sie eigentlich aus Oberbayern kommt. Zum Leben erweckt werden die illustrierten Gottheiten auf Ausschau nach dem Fang des Tages allerdings in einem kleinen Atelier in Süditalien.
