One of our absolute favourites – this handmade Italian pasta plate combines a wide, elevated rim with a flat center, creating a shape that is both functional and sculptural.
Originally inspired by traditional southern Italian tableware, this form is perfect for pasta dishes, antipasti, seafood or beautifully plated meals. The wide rim naturally frames the dish, turning every serving into a visual experience.
The distinctive Schizzato pattern is created using a traditional technique where colour is applied by hand with an olive branch, resulting in lively, irregular splashes. Each plate is unique – no two are ever the same.
This style is deeply rooted in everyday life in southern Italy, where it is often found in restaurants, boutique hotels and masserias.
Each piece is a true one-of-a-kind. Handmade and hand painted in a small ceramic studio in Puglia, every plate is shaped on the potter’s wheel and finished with individual brushwork.
Our ceramics are made from high quality clay sourced from Tuscany. After being shaped by hand, each piece dries under the Italian sun before undergoing a traditional multi-stage firing process.
The result is a durable, vibrant and timeless ceramic that reflects the essence of Italian craftsmanship and lifestyle.

Dishwasher safe
Fired at extremely high temperatures, the plate has a dense and durable surface. It is dishwasher safe, resistant to scratches and ideal for everyday use. Colours remain vibrant over time.

Die Keramikkunst von Studio Riviera wirkt wie vom römischen Meeresgott Neptun persönlich auf die mediterrane Dinnertafel gespült - obwohl sie eigentlich aus Oberbayern kommt. Zum Leben erweckt werden die illustrierten Gottheiten auf Ausschau nach dem Fang des Tages allerdings in einem kleinen Atelier in Süditalien.
