This set of four handmade ceramic small plates (16 cm) is designed for those everyday moments that deserve a beautiful presentation. Perfect for desserts, fruits, antipasti, bread or small bites, these plates bring a touch of Italian lifestyle to your table.
Each plate is a true one of a kind. Handmade according to traditional pottery craftsmanship in a ceramic studio in southern Italy, every piece is shaped on the potter’s wheel, glazed and carefully hand painted. No two plates are ever exactly the same, making each set unique.
The expressive patterns can be beautifully mixed and matched to create your own STUDiO RiViERA Signature Table.
Our ceramics are made from high quality clay sourced from a small village in Tuscany. After being shaped by hand, each piece dries for several days under the Italian sun before entering the kiln.
Each plate undergoes a traditional multi-step firing process. It is first fired for 36 hours at over 1000°C, then glazed by hand and fired again for 36 hours. Finally, each piece is hand painted and fired a third time. These elaborate processes give STUDiO RiViERA ceramics their durability, vibrant colors and unique character.

This is Nicola Fasano within his charming atelier in Bella Italia hand-painting one of our plates. All the unique patterns and joyful artworks of our pieces are exclusively created for STUDiO RiViERA.

Die Keramikkunst von Studio Riviera wirkt wie vom römischen Meeresgott Neptun persönlich auf die mediterrane Dinnertafel gespült - obwohl sie eigentlich aus Oberbayern kommt. Zum Leben erweckt werden die illustrierten Gottheiten auf Ausschau nach dem Fang des Tages allerdings in einem kleinen Atelier in Süditalien.
