A small but essential piece of Italian table culture – this handmade ceramic small plate (16 cm) is designed for everyday moments and beautifully styled tables.
Perfect for desserts, bread, fruit, breakfast or small dishes, it is a versatile companion for both daily use and special occasions.
Each plate is a true one-of-a-kind. Handmade and hand painted in a traditional ceramic studio in southern Italy, every piece is shaped on the potter’s wheel and finished with individual brushwork. No two plates are ever exactly the same.
Once sold, this piece cannot be reproduced.
Our ceramics are made from high quality clay sourced from a small village in Tuscany. After being shaped by hand, each piece dries under the Italian sun before entering the kiln.
The plate undergoes a traditional multi-stage firing process. It is first fired for 36 hours at over 1000°C, then glazed by hand and fired again. Finally, each piece is hand painted and fired a third time. These techniques give STUDiO RiVIERA ceramics their durability, vibrant colours and unmistakable character.

This is Nicola Fasano within his charming atelier in Bella Italia hand-painting one of our plates. All the unique patterns and joyful artworks of our pieces are exclusively created for STUDiO RiViERA.

Die Keramikkunst von Studio Riviera wirkt wie vom römischen Meeresgott Neptun persönlich auf die mediterrane Dinnertafel gespült - obwohl sie eigentlich aus Oberbayern kommt. Zum Leben erweckt werden die illustrierten Gottheiten auf Ausschau nach dem Fang des Tages allerdings in einem kleinen Atelier in Süditalien.
