A true expression of southern Italian craftsmanship – our Schizzato Salad Bowl brings effortless Mediterranean charm to your table.
The distinctive splatter pattern is created using a traditional technique where colour is applied by hand with an olive branch, resulting in beautifully irregular spots. No two bowls are ever the same – each piece carries its own rhythm and character.
Originally used in restaurants, masserias and boutique hotels in southern Italy, this style feels authentic, relaxed and timeless.
Perfect for fresh salads, pasta, fruit or serving dishes to share, this bowl is made for long lunches, summer dinners and easy gatherings with friends.
Each piece is handmade and hand painted in Puglia using traditional techniques passed down through generations of ceramists. Crafted from high quality Tuscan clay, every bowl is shaped on the wheel and dried under the Italian sun before entering the kiln.
The bowl undergoes an elaborate multi-stage firing process to ensure durability, vibrant colours and long-lasting quality.

Die Keramikkunst von Studio Riviera wirkt wie vom römischen Meeresgott Neptun persönlich auf die mediterrane Dinnertafel gespült - obwohl sie eigentlich aus Oberbayern kommt. Zum Leben erweckt werden die illustrierten Gottheiten auf Ausschau nach dem Fang des Tages allerdings in einem kleinen Atelier in Süditalien.
