A true essential of Italian table culture – this handmade small ceramic plate (20 cm) is designed for relaxed, shared moments around the table.
Perfect for antipasti, small dishes, olives, cheese, desserts or breakfast, it is the ideal companion for both everyday use and beautifully styled table settings.
Each piece is a true one-of-a-kind. Handmade and hand painted in a traditional ceramic studio in southern Italy, every plate is shaped on the potter’s wheel and finished with individual brushwork. No two pieces are ever exactly the same.
Our ceramics are made from high quality clay sourced from a small village in Tuscany. After being shaped by hand, each piece dries under the Italian sun before entering the kiln.
The plate undergoes a traditional multi-stage firing process. It is first fired for 36 hours at over 1000°C, then glazed by hand and fired again. Finally, each piece is hand painted and fired a third time. These techniques give STUDiO RiVIERA ceramics their durability, vibrant colours and unmistakable character.
