Handmade in Italy. With a character of its own.
Every Bordo Tornito is handmade and hand-painted in a traditional ceramic workshop in Puglia. The ceramicists use techniques passed down through generations. Working with clay, glaze and freely painted brushstrokes, they create a bowl that is never repeated exactly.
Viso, Psychodelic or Pesce: Each face has its own expression. In Psychodelic, colours flow into one another, creating different patterns and shades. The fish motifs come to life through sweeping outlines and visible brushwork. Even within the same design, no two bowls are exactly alike.
Small variations in shape and decoration are part of the process. They make every bowl a piece of its own.
At 21 cm in diameter and 8 cm high, the Bordo Tornito is a little more generous than our 19 cm bowl. Fill it with pasta and plenty of sauce, a warm curry, salad or yoghurt with fresh fruit.
Each bowl is glazed, painted by hand and fired three times at over 1,000°C. Dishwasher-safe and made for everyday use.
One favourite piece or a table filled with different patterns. With STUDIO RIVIERA, there is room for both.
