This plate's color scheme is anything but ordinary - it fully embodies the Mediterranean vibe of the 1960s and 70s. Plus, the wavy border adds a charming touch of vintage flair
The story behind The Baccellato Line is quite fascinating.
Originally, it was created by Fasano family's atelier in the early 90s as a way to revamp old molds found in our workshop.
Back in the monarchy, these plates were only available to wealthy and noble customers.
However, as we began to export them internationally, we realized the need to modernize and enrich the design to meet the demands of our diverse clientele.
Interestingly enough, fashion designer Giorgio Armani was one of the first customers and even currently uses the dinner plates in his private home on the island of Pantelleria.
Not only is this plate versatile and stylish, but it also has a hint of royalty with its rich history.
Diameter / Height: 25 cm x 5 cm

After first being kissed by the Italian sun, the product undergoes an initial firing process of 36 hours at over 1000°C. Then the base glaze is applied by hand and the product is fired again for 36 hours at 1000°C. Finally, the piece is hand painted by our artist and undergoes a third firing process. These elaborate firing processes make this item highly robust and durable and distinguishes it from ordinary ceramics.
