Our artisans in Southern Italy use techniques that have been perfected over centuries, ensuring each piece is unique and full of character. The journey of crafting one of these plates involves up to 8 meticulous steps, including:

🌞 Sun-Drying: Shaped with care and left to dry under the Italian sun.

🔥 First Firing: 36 hours at over 1000°C to strengthen the clay.

🎨 Glazing and Painting: Hand-applied for a smooth, vibrant finish.

🔥 Second Firing: Another 36 hours at high temperatures for durability.

✍️ Hand Painting: Artfully decorated by our skilled ceramists, giving each piece its own personality.

Die Keramikkunst von Studio Riviera wirkt wie vom römischen Meeresgott Neptun persönlich auf die mediterrane Dinnertafel gespült - obwohl sie eigentlich aus Oberbayern kommt. Zum Leben erweckt werden die illustrierten Gottheiten auf Ausschau nach dem Fang des Tages allerdings in einem kleinen Atelier in Süditalien.
