The PANTELLERIA line is inspired by the setting of the film A BIGGER SPLASH with Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes on the barren southern Italian Island PANTELLERIA. The rough, very sparse landscape is reflected in the iridiscent patterns and natural materials.
The tableware is made of original terracotta and only transparent glazed. This gives this special raw, very natural look and feel.

Handmade and hand painted in Puglia with heart and tradition. All products of Studio Riviera are created by hand with techniques passed down through generations of ceramists.
It takes up to 8 steps to finish a plate. the plates are fired up to three times at over 1000 degrees and 36 hours in the kiln.
The high quality clay for this special products come from a small village in Tuscany.
