Handmade according to traditional pottery craftsmanship in a small ceramic studio in \u003cstrong\u003ePuglia, southern Italy\u003c\/strong\u003e, every bowl is shaped on the potter’s wheel, glazed and carefully hand painted by our ceramic artist. No two pieces are ever the same.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur ceramics are made from high quality clay sourced from a small village in Tuscany. After being shaped by hand, each piece dries for several days under the Italian sun before entering the kiln.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bowl is then fired in an elaborate multi-stage process. It undergoes an initial firing of \u003cstrong\u003e36 hours at over 1000°C\u003c\/strong\u003e, followed by the application of the base glaze and a second \u003cstrong\u003e36 hour firing\u003c\/strong\u003e. Finally the decorative pattern is hand painted and the bowl is fired once more.
